[20:33] <+rridg218> Hello all! I’m Robert Ridgeway from 218 Games
[20:33] <+rridg218> I’ve been a game designer for 10 years
[20:34] <+rridg218> The newest Game out is Salem World, an adventure setting in Colonial America
[20:35] <+rridg218> It is on a 1d8 system that we developed for quick actions in combat, and check during game play.
&[19:32] <+SasquatchStephen> Hello, Stephen Schubert here along with Rich Baker, both of Sasquatch Game Studio, to chat for a while about the new Alternity Sci-Fi RPG currently on Kickstarter. A reimagining of the game Rich helped create for TSR nearly 20 years ago, Alternity is a modular sci-fi game designed to support the full range of sci-fi genres.
[19:32] <+SasquatchStephen> The kickstarter is funded and has another week to go – you can see it at: (Link: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/sasquatchgamestudio/alternity-2017-a-science-fiction-roleplaying-game)https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/sasquatchgamestudio/alternity-2017-a-science-fiction-roleplaying-game

[19:33] <+SasquatchStephen> What would you like to know? (ready for questions)
[19:40] <+Ettin> Hi! I’m Paul Matijevic; I wrote Retrocausality, a card-based time travel game. In the past I wrote the horror game Breakfast Cult and the Fate conversion of Inverse World.
[19:40] <+Ettin> I’m also a moderator at RPGnet and Something Awful’s tabletop forum, which some folks probably know more about.
[19:41] <+Ettin> That’s about it, I think!
[20:28] <+JLHerbert> O.K. I think I’ve got it. My name is Jamie Herbert, I have been gaming since I was 12 and started with the old red box D&D, (oh so many years ago) I have been a gamer since everything fromTraveller, to Champions, World of Darkness etc. And a geek in general as well I recently wrote an RPG called Super Happy Sentai Hour based on my love of the
[20:30] <+JLHerbert> japanese superhero genre. from Classics like go ranger and bioman to even power rangers. It’s a bit tongue and cheek but it has done well on Drivethru RPG, and now I am wrapping up a kickstarter for the new revised edition compiling more material in. (o.K. I am ready for questions)
[19:38] <+MikeStewart> Hello, my name is Mike Stewart and I’m a gamer. 🙂
[19:39] <+MikeStewart> Ten years ago my wife Liz introduced me to the Victorian era for study and novels. Inevitably our gaming caught up with that interest, and we wondered how a Victorian era world would handle the concept of superheroes or supervillains (ie SuperMankind).
[19:40] <+MikeStewart> So, with help from Troll Lord Games I designed a siege engine game that (I feel) captures both the flavor of Victorian adventuring with the haddition of steampunk future-science, magick, and supers.
[19:41] <+MikeStewart> Thus, Victorious was born! Done
[19:32] <+SteveSechi> Hi, my name is Steve Sechi and the game we’re talking about tonight is Talislanta: The Savage Land
[19:32] <+SteveSechi> which is a prequel to the original Talislanta RPG
[19:36] <+RustedPortal_Donaven> I’m Donaven Brines, CEO and founding member of Rusted Portal Games. Our game is Apocalypse the Risen Campaign setting, a post-apocalyptic fantasy horror game set on Earth, 25 years after the fall of society in an event known as the Rise.
[19:36] <+RustedPortal_Donaven> The Rise represents the moment in time when the seven seals were broken in a catastrophic event, tearing the veil between Earth and Purgatory, releasing souls of the dead and magic back to Earth.
