[28-Dec-21 03:02 PM] Chris Clark#7094 Hey everyone. Chris Clark here, owner of Inner City Games Designs, and although we are freshly incorporated (2020) we are likely the oldest surviving small press company that is still under its original management.
[28-Dec-21 03:03 PM] Chris Clark#7094 You may remember us from Fuzzy Heroes, the game of tactical combat for stuffed animals and toys, War PIGS (war with Plastic Infantry Guys) or more recently from the Lands of Igoay systemless adventures that we have on Drive Thru RPG.
[28-Dec-21 03:03 PM] Chris Clark#7094 Opps ^ that’s Igpay
[28-Dec-21 03:04 PM] Chris Clark#7094 I am here today to talk about our latest offering, currently in the midst of a KickStarter, called Lance.
[28-Dec-21 03:05 PM] Chris Clark#7094 Lance is a space-travel oriented science fiction adventure engine. Its a hard sci-fi game that is meant to test the wits of the players, rather than their dice-rolling skills.
[09-Dec-21 07:35 PM] Wade D#7946 G’day everyone. My name is Wade Dyer, I’m an ttRPG designed from the land down under (Australia) and I’m gearing up to release the 2nd edition of my sci-fi RPG: Fragged Empire. It’s been about 7 years since I launched 1st edition, and I’m SUPER excited to release what I believe will be the definitive edition of this setting and rule system. Tag line for FE2: “Your genetically engineered people are just now returning to the stars to usher in the dawn of a new age. Now is the time to reconnect with other forgotten species, explore war-torn worlds, combat ancient threats and forge new frontiers.”
[07-Dec-21 07:31 PM] Chris1559#1559 Hi, I’m Chris Carter. So I’ll tell you a bit about myself and the most game I’ve written, Transdimensional Adventures.
So I have been gaming for about thirty years, starting with Tunnels & Trolls and AD&D (2E). Games I’ve played the most of would included D&D (2E/3E/5E), Palladium games e.g. Rifts, and Savage Worlds. Other games I have a particular fondness for would include Gamma World (and the more recent Mutant Epoch), Marvel Super Heroes, Dragon Warriors and Call of Cthulhu. Lots more as well. I’m often tinkering with something but its a long time since I have published anything – the first time as an independent publisher.
[07-Dec-21 07:31 PM] Chris1559#1559 My current project is Transdimensional Adventures, which is a multi-genre RPG where characters can adventure across multiple worlds. Players can create a very broad variety of characters (from various world types) and then have adventures with them across various worlds. In some ways its similar to how a generic game like say GURPS or Savage Worlds works, but its more explicitly designed to have mixed groups and the dimension-hopping rules are more centre-stage.
[03-Dec-21 03:17 PM] Julien#0563 My name is Julien Pirou, I’m the writer and publisher of a science-fantasy tabletop RPG named Lore & Legacy, which is available in French (my native tongue) and English. I’m a game designer and writer by trade, working primarily in the video game industry. I notably spent 10 years at Ubisoft, working on games such as Might & Magic, For Honor, Watch_Dogs Legion, Anno 1800, and a bunch of other titles that were cancelled midway through 😄 I’ve been freelancing for the last couple of years. I’ve been playing TTRPGs for 20 years now, and was lucky to write for a couple of my favorite games, like Castle Falkenstein and Earthdawn (although most of the stuff I wrote is not available yet —hopefully soon). I also wrote a book on the history of TTRPGs called La Grande Aventure du Jeu de Rôle (litt. “The Great Adventure of Roleplaying Games”) which was released last year by Ynnis Éditions.
[02-Dec-21 07:05 PM] Ogami Itto#6310 Hi Everyone. I’m Jesse Covner, a partner in Sons of the Singularity, and lead creator of a new TTRPG called Between the Devil & the Deep.
[02-Dec-21 07:06 PM] Ogami Itto#6310 I have played rpgs since 1980s (but had a long 25 year break in there). I’m from the USA, San Diego, but I have lived abroad the last 17 years or more (can’t remember)
[02-Dec-21 07:08 PM] Ogami Itto#6310 My company’s first Kickstarter was The Sassoon Files, which was famously destroyed by CCP authorities. The second product was Rational Magic, which I talked about with this group. The third was … uh…. The Camlann Chronicles for 5e. The fourth was Journal d’Indochine, a CoC campaign set in colonial Vietnam. And now my pirate RPG, for the GUMSHOE system
[02-Dec-21 07:09 PM] Ogami Itto#6310 (Pirate RPG is Between Devil & the Deep, which I will henceforth write as BD&D)
[02-Dec-21 07:09 PM] Ogami Itto#6310 I’m happy to answer any question!
