<+Jim_Zub> My name is Jim Zub. I’ve been working in comics, animation and games for the past 19 years, but most of the work I’m known for has been produced in the past 10 years as a comic book writer, contributing to a bunch of stories for Marvel, IDW, Image Comics, Dark Horse and others. I have a deep love of tabletop RPGs and board games, and have written
<+Jim_Zub> the most RPG-related comic stories of any comic writer in the business, including Dungeons & Dragons, Munchkin, Exalted, Pathfinder, Kids On Bikes, and Rick and Morty VS Dungeons & Dragons. Over the past year I was also the lead developer and head writer on the D&D Young Adventurer’s Guides, a set of books built to introduce new/young players to
<+Jim_Zub> the precepts of RPGs.
<+Jim_Zub> So yeah, a lot of comics and gaming. Getting the chance to contribute to these worlds has been an absolute thrill.
<+Jim_Zub> Currently I’m writing the new D&D comic series Infernal Tides at IDW, Conan the Barbarian at Marvel, and a creator-owned series for comiXology/Amazon called Stone Star.
<+Jim_Zub> So ask away about my work or working in the business in general and I’m happy to chat about it. (done)
<+DavidSilver> Hello everyone! I am David Silver of Silver Games LLC! We made Ponyfinder, introducing ponies and a ton of other exotic species into Pathfinder play and shattering the idea that you need to be human-shaped to join the club.
<+DavidSilver> We’re currently working on Tails of the City, bringing Pathfinder 1, 2, and D&D5 into the modern age with an action pulp sensibility and more narrative control being handed to the player. Also furries. ❤

<+PuppycatProductions> Greetings, my name is Cameron Miller and I’m a game designer who’s trying to take his games from a hobby into an actual profession. I’m here today to talk about my current project: Archons. The link to the game is here: (Link: https://www.worldanvil.com/w/archons-decisive-factor-system-rephath)https://www.worldanvil.com/w/archons-decisive-factor-system-rephath
<+PuppycatProductions> Archons takes place in a fantasy sword-and-sorcery setting. My current setting is very much in development, but this game mechanics should be compatible with settings designed for D&D and other similar games.
<+PuppycatProductions> I had a few goals for this game. The first was to have simple mechanics that let the game flow quickly and smoothly while still allowing for tactical depth. The second was a character creation system that gave you the pieces to assemble a character that fits with your vision of who you want to be, rather than just the handful of characters the
<+PuppycatProductions> creators could imagine. Thirdly, I wanted mechanics that supported the narrative, rather than working against it.
<+PuppycatProductions> I’m still in playtesting, so I’m not looking for financial backing right now. What I need instead is detailed feedback and also playtesters who are willing to run with the game on their own. So, if you’re up for that, I hope you’ll take a look at my game and find something worth being a part of. Continue Reading
<+kksimons> Hey all, my name is Kyle Simons. I got into the game design + publishing game back in 2012 with my first project, called Magicians, which was designed to teach you the Korean language by way of a magical school setting. Since then I’ve teamed up with my brother and we’ve got a bunch of other games under our belts.
<+kksimons> My latest is project is called Galaxies in Peril, it’s kind of a spiritual successor to Worlds in Peril and updates it to the Forged in the Dark ruleset, which was made by John Harper in his game Blades in the Dark.
