[30-Sep-21 07:39 PM] Miguel Ribeiro#8796
Thanks for having me. My name is Miguel Ribeiro, I’m from Portugal, and I have been role-playing since 1989. I’ve only published recently, though: I started earlier this year, through Postmortem Studios. I had translated one of my old Kult scenarios to English, and was planning on uploading it to Drivethru, as Pay What You Want, when I had a chat with James Desborough, and he showed some interest in it. The scenario was Orpheum Lofts and that’s how the Giallo trilogy started. After that came the other two gialli (The Memorial and Sisters of the Seven Sins), then Welcome to St. Cloud, a Twin Peaks-like setting for Actual F***ing Monsters (I’ll refer to it as AFM, from now on, for simplicity’s sake) and, finally, Postcards from Avalidad, for the *Punk RPG.

I am ready to answer any questions you have about the project and/or the company
As introduction, I’m Tanya Floaker (they/them), and I’m a queer anarchist communist based out of Edinburgh, Scotland. I design games that consciously engage with my political outlook, help organise Edinburgh Indie Gamers, and I’m a mod for r/RPGcreation. I am also a keen participant in both #NaGaDeMon and #SideQuest2021, both taking place in November.
I’d love for us to talk about AlbaCon, an online charity fundraiser taking place online next weekend.
Right now I juggle my free time between a wee bit of freelance writing for a|state 2nd edition from Handiwork Games, and Kickstaring Ebb & Flow: A SLA Industries Fanzine. That campaign has about five more days, and is smashing expectations. Folks can take a look here: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/floaker/ebb-and-flow

[22-Sep-21 07:35 PM] Freddie Bell#6099
Hello, my name is Freddie Taylor-Bell and I’m a AAA Games Designer currently working at Free Radical Design.
Last April I released a free Powered by the Apocalypse game on Itch.io called Briar & Bramble which is all about cute woodland creatures living in a dangerous world searching for a new home. Heavily inspired by Watership Down and The Animals of Farthing Wood.
As of yesterday we reached 1000 downloads which for a free game from an unknown dev is pretty good I reckon!
The game is currently on Kickstarter (and will be until October 1st) to raise funds for a full-art, professionally laid out edition of the game as well as physical printings.

Hey guys, I’m an engineer, but more importantly an avid gamer. I got addicted to tabletop RPGs in college and quickly got introduced into board games. Now in addition to playing games, I really love exploring Indy games, playtesting, giving feedback, etc.

Hi all, I’m T. Julian. Creative Director at Dark Veil Studios talking about our new TTRPG Dark Veil. Dark Veil is live on Kickstarter currently ( http://kck.st/3kfMadn ). I’m here to answer questions and talk about Dark Veil and the company. Dark Veil centers on a universe splintered in time cohesively connecting eras of medieval fantasy, Victorian era steampunk, cyberpunk space age, and the infinite realms of the Veil. It uses a proprietary success-based skill system when rolling a d6 over the course of actions for skills. Players receive successes for 5’s and 6’s and burn dice for consecutive skill rolls with a roll of a 1. The game primarily focuses on roleplay driven story with players joining organizations, survival in the new universe with factions, dealing with the mysterious Veil at the end of each era sector, and the dangers of the infinite realms. One of my favorite elements of gameplay is the ability to steal magic and tactic traits while you are playing to grow your character in real time. done
[16-Sep-21 07:31 PM] Apotheosis#1129
My name is Ian Tassin I’m the writer and lead developer for Apotheosis.
[16-Sep-21 07:31 PM] Apotheosis#1129
Apotheosis is a fantasy TTRPG with a focus on rewarding creative problem solving and collaboration more than traditional TTRPGs.
The does this in a variety of ways, but some of the most notable are the ability pool system which gives players unlimited
character customization options and the combat system which is designed to bring more realism and strategy to TTRPG combat.
Apotheosis uses an evasion and wounding system for combat that makes the game more intense and narratively cohesive.
Additionally, the spells in apotheosis are designed to mimic the kinds of hard magic systems you’d find in a lot of modern fantasy.
This gives them more flexible applications and makes them reward creativity and strategy more than most TTRPG spells.

Hi guys! Thanks for having me. My name is Brian Saliba, head prier at Crowbar Creative. We’ve just published Rackham Vale: Fantasy Adventure from the Art of Arthur Rackham. It’s a sandbox setting inspired by and featuring the art of the grandmaster of the Golden Age of British Book Illustration. Wrote it with my brother, who also introduced my to ttrpgs way back in the 80s. Book, pdfs, bestiary cards, and other goodies available at crwbr.com. And the original soundtrack (also by my brother) is on YouTube and Soundcloud. Hope that will suffice for an intro. Looking forward to your questions! done.
