Hello! My name Ken and I’m Solar Studio’s Lore Manager and the project manager for Redsky 5e. My background is in Sociology, Anthropology, and being a huge nerd. I’ve been around ttrpgs all my life, and my parents were both huge fans of Shadowrun and Battletech.
Aside from Redsky, I mostly DM for D&D5e, play Skaven, GSC, and Imperial fists in Warhammer, and Commander in MTG. I’ve been writing since I could hold a pencil and playing around with game mechanics since I could read my parents books.
You can find me at @mane_neth on Twitter or @squid.the.dude on tiktok.

Hi everyone! I hope you’re all having a good Wednesday evening. My name is Alex Ioakimidis, I’m a philosophy graduate student at Johns Hopkins, and I’m one of the co-founders of Solar Studios.
I’m a longtime PC gamer and spent way too much of my teenage years playing turn-based strategy games, 1st and 3rd person shooters, and Paradox Games.
At Solar Studios I work as a designer, editor, and all-around loremaster. I also handle some of the marketing and social media, especially on Facebook, Instagram, and Reddit.

Redsky 5e (https://tinyurl.com/Redsky5e) is a D&D5e conversion for magic-less settings, set in our original world: Redsky! It is a love letter to both the scifi and fantasy genres, taking influences from things like Game of Thrones, Mass Effect, Earthsea, and Sid Meier’s Civilization. Redsky is a classical fantasy world set inside a world ship that is actually an huge scientific experiment. Taking the place of magic are Eldertech, relics left behind the mysterious and elusive Overseers and civilization from past cycles. Also included in this conversion are a new take on alignment we call the Elements, based in political and moral philosophy instead of just good and evil. Additionally, we are adding a social encounter system for allow more political oriented games and give GMs a tool to easily share NPC information seamlessly between games.
