[2:24 PM] jim pinto: I’m jim pinto. Long time veteran of the gaming industry and maybe the worst self-promotor there is. How’s that for a logline? I’ve been working in some capacity in gaming since 1991, but didn’t really publish my first book until… 1996 was it? With the L5R GM’s Survival Guide. I’ve been writing GM advice since the beginning.
[8:03 AM] Rico: Glad to be back here, that’s our third time I think! I’m Rico Sirignano, founder of 2LM (Two Little Mice) together with Simone Formicola.
[8:04 AM] Simone: Hello again!
[8:05 AM] Rico: Three years ago we published our first RPG here in Italy, it was called Household and it was a game about “littlings” living inside an abandoned House. After that we did our first international project that was Broken Compass. It was a huge successes also thanks to the support from many people from this community
[8:07 AM] Rico: Last year Broken Compass came into CMON’s radar, and long story short we are now the RPG publishing arm of CMON and we are proudly bringing our first born Household to the international audience for the first time And I’m done!1

[8:15 PM] ddrader: Hi, I’m Darrin Drader. I’m a writer and full time freelance game designer in the roleplaying game field. I’ve been in this industry since 2000, worked for numerous companies like WotC, Paizo, Legendary Games, Gun Mertal Games, and so on. [8:05 AM] bigattichouse: Hello, friends! My name is Mike Johnson from Limitless-Adventures
[8:05 AM] bigattichouse: https://limitless-adventures.com/
[8:07 AM] bigattichouse: My partner Andy and I started Limitless in 2016 to address a very simple problem of random encounters. Looking at a table of randoms, we rolled up 1d4 kobolds. Why were they there? Did the person who created the table realize they actually made the whole process MORE time consuming? They could at least give me AC and hp.
[8:08 AM] bigattichouse: So.. we started writing little encounters pack PDFs.
[8:08 AM] bigattichouse: but we treated them less like adventures, and more like writing prompts
[8:08 AM] bigattichouse: A DM is creating flash fiction for their friends each week, every week, and needs tools that help with writer’s block.
[8:09 AM] bigattichouse: Similarly with NPCs. If they have a store, wouldn’t it be nice to see what they sold?
[8:10 AM] bigattichouse: We’ve created upwards of 500 encounters (probably closer to 750-1000) in our three main books, and every single one gives you three Further Adventure writing prompts

[8:12 AM] bigattichouse: Ylera Valley.
[8:13 AM] bigattichouse: We’ve created a sandbox style campaign setting that you can drop into any campaign world.
[8:13 AM] bigattichouse: The valley has been hidden from the world by Lord Ventru, a lich who rules with an iron fist.
[8:14 AM] bigattichouse: We’ve created a number of story sidequests in the valley, along with individual encounters, secrets to discover, roleplay, puzzles, and skill challenges.
[8:16 AM] bigattichouse: The sandbox valley (with hexmap overlay) allows for a more hexcrawl experience if your party enjoys exploration, or you can dive into the story elements with the individual sidequests. We’ve tried to structure it so that everyone gets a taste of the core elements of DnD that they like to engage with.1
[8:17 AM] Shay_Bird24: Hello! Sorry for the delay. A big storm hit our area last night and we were having to reboot everything. My name is Taylor and I am here with Flannel and we have created a new RPG called Regency. Regency is a tabletop roleplaying game of high society maneuvering and romance set against an inspired world of classic period tropes and darling adventures. Players will take on various roles within their family and navigate a world of gossip, beauty, affairs of the heart, and duties of their social station. It is currently being Kickstarted and we are so excited to share this project with people.

[7:32 PM] Alan Tucker: Here’s the bit where I talk about myself in the third person: Alan Tucker is the author of a number of fantasy and science fiction novels, as well as numerous adventures and other supplements on the DM’s Guild and DriveThruRPG. He enjoys storytelling in all forms and creating NPCs, encounters, and adventures is great for scratching that particular itch. His best selling Hey, Mister. Can You Help Me? collection of encounters with street urchins has garnered wide acclaim. The two hefty collaborative Eberron projects, dealing with the Mournland and Demon Wastes and featuring the character of Kendal Santor, have also been extremely popular. You can find Alan on Twitter @TuckerAuthor, or visit his website at http://www.alantucker.net.
[7:33 PM] Alan Tucker: My current project is the Eye of Everywhere, a setting for 5th edition that’s currently funding on Gamefound. The Eye of Everywhere is a portal—a unique, multiverse-spanning portal, large enough for some vessels to pass through. It appears as an inky, spherical, swirling mass of palpable energy about 200 feet across. Purple and crimson motes randomly spark from its insubstantial surface and traffic entering and emerging is heavy and steady. The space immediately around it contains atmosphere, but no gravity. Most fly, swim, or glide comfortably to their destinations, while a few flail about as if drowning in deep water until someone comes along offering aid—usually for a price. Several hundred feet beyond the mesmerizing portal is a gigantic ring of buildings, streets, parks, and dwellings, which entirely surrounds the anomaly and takes its name from it as well. So, the “Eye” refers to both the portal and the city that encircles it. Both sides of this planar ring support structures and gravity establishes on either top or bottom when leaving the inner circle. The two sides have been dubbed “law” and “chaos,” mostly based on the predominant factions occupying each side. The city itself is divided into several zones or sectors, each controlled and policed—to varying degrees—by one of the many factions who occupy the Eye. (done)

If you’d like to know more about the book or about our products in general or just our approach to gaming, bring it on! I’ve been playing D&D and similar games for over 40 years but a lot of our contributors are of a younger generation. They’re trying to teach me about this whole Discord thing…
