<+MarkR> Hello everyone. I am Mark Rapson and I am one of the 4 owners of Nightfall Games and we are the creators and publishers of SLA Industries.
<+MarkR> The other 3 are Jared Earle, David Allsop and Chris ‘Shep’ Shepperson
<+jearle> Hi, I’m Jared Earle and I’m another of the four Nightfall guys
<+MarkR> SLA Industries (pronounced “Slay Industries”) is an award-winning pen-and-paper role-playing game that was first published in Scotland in 1993. The game is a horror noir science-fiction setting set in a dystopian reality in which the majority of the known universe is either owned or indirectly controlled by the eponymous corporation SLA Industries. <+Wyrdwood_Robert> Hey! My name is Robert Turk from Wicked Clever Games, and my latest project is called Scouts of the Wyrdwood Forest. It is a rules-lite, storytelling adventure game about modern kids who spend their weekends exploring an enchanted woodland realm.
<+Wyrdwood_Robert> This game is about embracing myth and faerie tale, earning badges, meeting and helping strange new people, and finding non-violent solutions to the challenges you encounter. It is fully funded on Kickstarter and heading towards stretch goals with two weeks to go. scouts.wicked-clever.com
<+Robotech_Jeff> Hello, I’m Jeff Mechlinski – co-founder of Strange Machine Games – SMG
<+Robotech_Jeff> and I am here to talk about the new Robotech RPG
<+Ed_Jowett> Hi everyone! I’m Ed from Shades of Vengeance!
<+Ed_Jowett> It’s a pleasure to be back among you all once again, talking about another game – in fact, the 10th game line which I have spoken about here – Era: Forbidden.
<+Ed_Jowett> Inspired by Hellboy and Darksiders, Era: Forbidden is a game where you take the role of a more-than-human character and fight to protect Humanity in the ruins of our once-great civilisation.
<+Ed_Jowett> If you want a look at the Kickstarter, it’s right here: (Link: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/shadesofvengeance/era-forbidden?ref=a6wyi0)https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/shadesofvengeance/era-forbidden?ref=a6wyi0
<+Ed_Jowett> The story begins when the world ended. Armies came from the skies, with weapons Humanity couldn’t comprehend, much less fight against. Our cities destroyed, we were reduced to running, hiding like rats.
<+Ed_Jowett> Someone found that taking a weapon from one member of these two armies – we refer to them as Angels and Demons, but who even knows what they really are – mutates a Human. We’ll change, grow stronger, larger, more able to fight back.
<+Ed_Jowett> The Angels and Demons don’t care about us, only about destroying each other. And only these people who change – the Forbidden – can protect us.
<+Ed_Jowett> Players take the role of a Forbidden in this game, which is designed for a small number of players – it’s optimised for 1-2 players and a GM – and try to fight back against the invaders… not to defeat them, but to protect whatever remains of Humanity.
<+Ed_Jowett> It runs on the Era d10 Rule Set and offers several new features, such as a new method of levelling and some rather interesting item traits linked to that.
<+Tim> Alright! Hi everyone, my name is Tim B and I’m a co-creator of Henshin!: A Sentai RPG. I’m joined here by the other designer, Sam Kusek, whom I’ll hand it over to in just a moment for his intro, but first more about the game.
<+SamKusek> Hi all, this is Sam Kusek, the other co-creator! I’m going to be letting Tim do most of the talking here but I’ll pipe in occasionally to help address any questions. Looking forward to chatting!
<+Tim> Henshin! is a diceless story-forward game inspired by the sentai genre…think Japanese color-coded superheros, masks, and mechs. We probably know it in North America as Power Rangers, but the genre is much bigger in Japan with far reaching tropes
<+Tim> Oh ha! Look at that, we’re both introduced. Nice!
<+SamKusek> Here are some links to Two of our Playbooks, so you can get a sense of how the game works:

<+Tim> ^Nice work, Sam! So we created the core mechanics of Henshin! about two years ago and have had the opportunity to release its early versions, get TONS of feedback from players, and playtest the game over many, many sessions.
<+Tim> We always knew we wanted a comprehensive printed book filled with AMAZING art by people we want to support, so we developed a crowdfunding campaign that is exactly halfway through its run and over triple its original goal!
<+Tim> We’re excited to be here and answer questions. Throw them at us and let’s HENSHIN! (done)

<+Charm_Jeff> Hello! I am Jeff Mechlinski – Co-Founder of Strange Machine Games
<+Charm_Jeff> I have published 2 RPG games: SuperAge + Age Past, and we are about to launch teh pre-sale for teh new Robotech RPG
<+Charm_Jeff> I have an upcoming Kickstarter for a game called Charm – the KS launches Oct 2nd
<+Charm_Jeff> Charm is a small format RPG. It has a small rule set and is easy to learn. It it a straight simulation type game that can replicate the effects of much more complex games, using only a tiny ruleset of about 10k words
<+Charm_Jeff> A Charm character can be made in minutes or even seconds and the game can work with almost any genre
<+Charm_Jeff> The base game comes with the standard rules and 7 5k word scenarios – each scenario has rules that modify the basic Charm rules
<+TroyEndGameGaming> Good evening
<+Charm_Jeff> Charm is interesting because your character can fit on a business sized PC sheet
<+Charm_Jeff> hey there!!
<+Charm_Jeff> and yopu just need 2 dice to play – a d6 and a d20
<+Charm_Jeff> I think that’s a basic summary
<+Felix> Good evening everyone! Thank you for your interest in New Horizon. Also, a special thanks to Dan for giving me the opportunity of being here today. I’m looking forward to answering any questions you might have for me tonight. I’m the creator and author of New Horizon: A Dark Fantasy All-In-One Core Book
<+Richard> Hey all! I’m Richard, designer/author of The Dawnline and Firefighter Sharks In Space, and I’d like to present to you Rod, Reel, & Fist.
<+Richard> Should I throw down a link to the Kickstarter page?
<~Dan> Sure!
<+Richard> Awesome!
<+Richard> (Link: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/rodreel/rod-reel-and-fist?ref=4bogal)https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/rodreel/rod-reel-and-fist?ref=4bogal
<+Richard> Rod, Reel, & Fist is an all-ages fishing adventure rpg
<+Richard> You play as fishers voyaging into a slightly magical area to find a wish-granting fish that will save their village.
<+Richard> Along the way you catch fish, wrangle local wildlife, and overcome obstacles.
<+Richard> The game is dice-based, specifically d6s, and you do roll to see if you can triumph over certain challenges, but the game is designed so that all setbacks are temporary.
<+Richard> Failing, or getting chased off by dangerous animals, or letting a fish slip away causes you to take Exhaustion. Exhaustion builds up and makes your rolls harder, but you can discard all of it by making camp and kicking back with your friends for a little bit.
<+Richard> So the game, by default, is pretty gentle, but you can easily customize it to fit whatever level of challenge and tension your group wants.
<+Richard> Also very customizable is the setting.
<+Richard> By default, you’re playing in a sort of magical-realism 1980s countryside of Japan, but the book comes with a simple system for building your own setting, and you can make those as weird and specific as you want.
