[31-Mar-21 07:36 PM] The Warden#3115
First off, thank you for having me here tonight. I’m Todd Crapper (aka the Warden), the lead designer/writer/publisher for Pandora: Total Destruction, a tabletop RPG currently on Kickstarter about overpowered supers learning to control their powers to confront a great evil.

Who is Mark?
Hi, I’m Mark. I’m a zoologist / academic from southern England, although living in the North East of the UK. I’ve been writing roleplaying material since 2003, starting with Ars Magica (24 titles) then moving to Mythras in 2017 with Mythic Constantinople. Also under the Mythras banner I’ve had published a mini-setting for Mythic Britain (called Waterlands) and have several others in various stages of completion, including Mythic Polynesia.

What is Perceforest?
The elevator pitch: Perceforest is a world of high chivalry and high fantasy for Mythras. It is a world of sorcerer-knights and talking animals, a place of wonders and dark menace, with a dash of psychedelia.
Perceforest is based on a massive (million word) epic of the same name which was written in the fourteenth century, describing a Britain before the coming of the Romans yet one with all the hallmarks of high chivalry. This source material has been adapted to create a new fantasy setting with all the adventure of the original work but without its anachronisms and cultural hang-ups.
The Isle of Bretaigne is mostly wilderness at its core, with cities forming points of safety and civilisation. The wild lands between the cities are not simply uncivilised โ this is the home of The Forest, an idiot force of rampant, chaotic growth that seeks to reconquer the land stolen by humans for crops and livestock. Player characters are knights and enchanters, minstrels and heralds; the staples of Late Medieval Romance but in a pre-Roman milieu.

Hi. I’m Courtney Campbell, a writer/illustrator of fantasy gaming material. I’m currently running a Kickstarter called Bestial Ecosystems Caused by Monstrous Inhabitation.
It’s all about how to create player-facing ecosystems with novel takes on monsters that have possibly seen too much use at a table, making them more than just a combat encounter. Subvert expectations.
It’s got top tier artists and writers providing illustrations and bonus content.

My name is Taylor Hubler, but I also have an internet handle of CalebTGordan in case anyone has seen that around online. I got started with game making very early on in my life because of a very creative family. I’ve been playing table top RPGs for about 20 years now, and games are a huge part of my life.
I got my start with actual publishing and my foot in the industry with Paizo’s RPG Superstar. I was top 32 in 2015, and top 16 in their last season of the contest. I had gotten published in Wayfinder a couple times before that, but it was my work with the contest that gave me the confidence to reach out to people.
I did a bunch of PF1 work for 3PP. (I’ll include a link to my paizo site profile which has a mostly complete list of stuff I did during that phase of my career in a moment) Then life sort of got in the way until PF2. I did two products (Fellow Travelers: Animal Companions and Fellow Travelers: Cohorts, Followers, and Hirelings) then life got in the way again.

Our Slimy Home is my most recent published game, my first self-published game, and something dear to my heart. I was inspired by games I played at Big Bad Con in 2019, specifically The Quiet Year and The Ground Itself. (and for those not familiar with the second one: https://everestpipkin.itch.io/the-ground-itself)
This game and the desire to share it with the world were one of the few things that got me through the pandemic. I was fortunate enough to do playtests and get art in those playtests before the shut downs. From there I used my industry contacts for feedback and finding the talent I needed to finish it up.
Our Slimy Home is a map drawing, slice of life story building game. You take on the role of a dungeon lord, answer story prompts, and do some art all to create a dungeon and tell the story of the monstrous residents that rely on you. Its good for all ages, and has produced some pretty great stories in the times I’ve seen it played.

Thank you and I look forward to the questions

Hi! My name is dean, I’m from phx. I’m a full time environmental economics researcher with a love for rpgs/dnds. I am debuting my dnd writing career with Tritonia #1 with @sodanugs
Tourmaline Valley: Tritonia #1 is the first of a three-part D&D 5e adventure where first level players assume the role of a touring band in a world controlled by the maligned artificer Lord Spootify. In the game, you combat rival bands and nasty monsters alike in this indie-rockified fantasy RPG module.
There’s a lot of light-heartedness to this game, with plenty of references to music culture. Your Team Rocket type baddie is a trio called Hank and the Hecking Hecklers. There’s also a rival band called Chaotic Neutral Milk Hotel. People love those references

Hello to the Randomworlds community! It’s a pleasure to be here. My name is Justin Oldham. I don’t use a pen name. I am an Army brat. I visited half the Continental US before my family settled in Alaska. I’ve been here consistently since late 1978. I was born with a permanent visual impairment called aniridia. That disability has never really slowed me down. I’ve been pursuing my goals as a writer for almost four decades. Half of that has been spent in casual game design. Before I committed to the publication of the post-apocalyptic tabletop role-playing game A.C.: AFTER COLLAPSE.

Hi! My name is Owen Martin, and Iโm here with my brother Adam Martin, and our writing partner Doug. Weโre the creators of the Savage Company Campaign Setting for Pathfinder and 5e.
Savage Company is a genre blend military fantasy setting, placing guns and military style gear and equipment alongside the more traditional dungeons, dragons, swords, and sorcery.
We have 11 published books so far, 5 of those are free to download. All of the books are evenly mixed with short stories and art along with rules and game content to provide a high entertainment value for readers apart from just using them as game rulebooks.
Weโre currently running the kickstarter campaign for our next huge book that includes stand-alone wargame rules and miniatures. https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/shmpublishing/savage-company-machines-of-war/

My name is Chris Clark, although I often go by Christopher oficially when signifying authorship. I have been writing games since 1978 (first published) and have contributed to or authored more than 100 games in my time. I own what might be the oldest small press company in the business still owned by its original proprietor: Inner City Games Designs MORE

and I have worked with a number of companies including Troll Lord Games, Hekaforge Productions (with Gary Gygax) Eldritvh Enterprises (with Frank Mentzer, Tim Kask and James M. Ward), Fireside Creations, Goodman Games, and a few I am sure I have forgotten with time.

In short, I am a dinosaur of the industry, although I hope never to become extinct. Recently, I finished the Starship Warden with Jim Ward, and I have been writing the tournament adventure modules (1e) with Luke Gygax and Turbo for the lasst 7 years or so.

Inner City is in the midst of releasing (via KS) a remake of our original flagship production from 1978 and 1982, Inner City the RPG as Inner City Redux. Prior to theat we released a series iof humorous OSR style modules known as the Lands of Igpay Adventures. Given all of that, I am likely still best known for Fuzzy Heroes, and perhaps War PIGs.
