[19:34] <+Mickey> Hi I’m Mickey Barfield, Creator of Spy, Pathogen Unclassified and the upcoming Wicked Pacts.
[19:34] <+Mickey> Wicked Pacts is a Modern day Urban fantasy RPG
[19:35] <+Mickey> It has been best described as “It’s like playing in the Dresden Files without being the Dresden Files”.
[19:36] <+Mickey> We have a system that not only uses the basic polyhedral set of dice but also incorporates Tarot cards for a interesting effect in the game
[19:36] <+Mickey> Players create various magic users from different types of areas of magic.
[19:37] <+Mickey> The world has various different organizations to unite and help other mages along. Some good, some bad
[19:37] <+Mickey> The largest is the Hermetic Order
[20:32] <+NathanTucker> Hello to everyone and thank you for being here. I’m Nathan Tucker from the Make Believe Games Team. I’m a writer, designer and artist. I run a community arts organisation. I am also the line-developer for Revolutionaries, MBG’s latest RPG.
[20:32] <+NathanTucker> Revolutionaries is a tabletop RPG set during the American War of Independence that allows you to go behind the scenes of the war that birthed a nation. You are a member of the Culper spy ring charged with taking a stand against tyranny. Revolutionaries is live on Kickstarter now!
[20:17] <+RobHicks> My name is Rob Hicks, from Midnight Campaign games. We are a (very) small publishing company for fantasy board and card games based out of Salt Lake City, Utah.
[20:18] <+RobHicks> We did a family card game a few years back called Goblin’s Breakfast, which was successful via kickstarter, and have been working on a tabletop roleplaying game for a few years called Mayhem.
[20:19] <+RobHicks> The game is a sword and sorcery rpg focusing on tight tactical action, vivid characters, and creative storytelling.
[20:19] <+RobHicks> We launched a kickstarter for the project early this month and raised some money, but not enough to build the game into the scale that we were looking for, and so are restructuring the project and relaunching again sometime in late August.
[20:20] <+RobHicks> And that’s the very short version. I’m happy to go into more specific detail on different components for the game and why this particular project is worth looking into, but there is a lot to it, so I am happy to follow your lead on what you might be looking for.
[20:21] <+RobHicks> And am very grateful for the opportunity to come and talk a little. (Done.)
[19:39] <+Liam_Raids> Hello everyone, my name is Liam and I am the designer of Raids.
[19:39] <+Liam_Raids> Raids is a storytelling RPG with the main focus on stories rather than being too rules heavy.
[19:40] <+Liam_Raids> This makes it a nice entry level game for younger players or gamers who are not as familiar with tabletop RPGs.
[19:41] <+Liam_Raids> But the rules are able to add more depth and challenge to the game to allow something for seasoned gamers or players who want to kick it up a notch.
[19:42] <+Liam_Raids> It is a dice based game, using D20s and D6s, and character creation is simple to get you straight into the story. “(done)”
[19:31] <+Overkilldev> Hello everyone, I’m Joseph Barber and I’m here to talk about my game, Overkill.
[19:31] <+Overkilldev> It’s a tabletop roleplaying game where players take on the role of action movie stars.
[19:31] <+Overkilldev> It’s designed to be quick to get into and uses a normal deck of playing cards for its main mechanic.
[20:32] <+Lichhunter> Hello everyone. I am Hal Burdick. I am a filmmaker and game designer. I came to films through gaming and now wonder if there is a way to go back from films to gaming.
[20:33] <+Lichhunter> My first effort along these lines is Graphic RPG.
[20:33] <+Lichhunter> It’s a modern fantasy/horror game that is made to make it feel like you’re in a modern day movie. The action is gritty but heroic. There’s magic and the heroes have a chance.
[19:34] <+BPIJonathan> Hello all and welcome to the Q&A tonight. I am Jonathan M. Thompson, co-author and publisher of Gaslight Victorian Fantasy, now in its third edition for Savage Worlds.
[19:36] <+BPIJonathan> Gaslight Victorian Fantasy is a Victorian world, but not as history tells us it was, but as the literature implies that it was. Believe that the literature from the period were more than just stories, but instead firsthand accounts of the events that happened in the world.
[19:36] <+BPIJonathan> Imagine a world populated by the lost boys of JM Barrie, the Beast Men of Dr. Moreau even tales of an immortal vampire named Dracula. Included in these are organizations bent of determining what is best for humanity, and they have launched a secret war against others so that only one will prevail.
[19:35] <+BryceWhitacre> My name is Bryce Whitacre. My latest project is for Fearlight Games. It’s called Hood: Swashbuckling Adventures in Sherwood Forest. It’s a Robin Hood RPG with a focus on the visual style of swashbuckling.
[19:36] <+BryceWhitacre> For Fearlight Games, I’ve also written Baker Street: Roleplaying in the World of Sherlock Holmes.
[19:35] <+Tucker> My name is Tucker Weston. I am the creator of Golden Oceans: The Adventure Roleplaying Game. I’ve been developing games for almost fifteen years, but I’m just finally starting to publish.
[19:37] <+Tucker> Golden Oceans is a multi genre roleplaying game which focuses on giving flexibility to the player. In leiu of a level system we use special abilities called Confidences. By mixing and matching various cultural, occupational, reputational, and motivational confidences, the player can come up with a wide variety of unique characters.
[19:38] <+Tucker> Golden Oceans also rewards players for roleplaying by giving them Destiny points to gave advantages in the storyline.
[20:22] <+StevePerrin> Got it. My name is Steve Perrin. I wrote RuneQuest and am helping with the new one. Right n ow, thojugh, I am involved with the rules and
[20:23] <+StevePerrin> character creations for Superhero 2044, 3rd Edition. It is a Superhero game based to some extent on the original superhero RPG, but with a lot of differences.
[20:25] <+StevePerrin> We are intending to supply over 350 characters for immediate play, and are providing a fairly robust character bjuilding system as well
[20:27] <+StevePerrin> Many of the characters provided are public domain characters from the 40s and 50s. Many more are classics like Dracula and Moriarity, and some are new and original characters
