[30-Nov-21 07:34 PM] shrikerobin#1011 Hey, I’m Robin Belle, Voting Member and Administrator for Shrike Tabletop. We’re a game design collective operating in Maryland mostly. We’re here to promote our inaugural game Era of Silence. It’s currently on Kickstarter as we fund the last stage of development costs.
[30-Nov-21 07:34 PM] shrikerobin#1011 It’s a traditional/pop style Tabletop Roleplaying Game designed on the original Thorne System. It has rules that encourage teamwork, modular character builds, and rapid tactical combat. The setting is the shattered world of Vian, abandoned by its gods in the Long Silence. Yet civilization is sustained and even thriving thanks to cooperation and the mastery of scientific alchemy in this chemipunk fantasy setting.
[23-Nov-21 07:36 PM] Jeshields#7002 Hey, friends! My name is James Shields, but I do business in this community as Jeshields.
[23-Nov-21 07:37 PM] Jeshields#7002 I have been a freelance artist for independent RPG publishers for almost 8 years and almost from the beginning, I have had a desire to give back to the creators who made my favorite past-time (roleplaying) into a reality.
[23-Nov-21 07:39 PM] Jeshields#7002 I know that this is primarily a hobby community and some of the best writers don’t have an art budget to match the quality of their work, and unfortunately, many consumers DO judge a book by its covers.
[23-Nov-21 07:41 PM] Jeshields#7002 My first answer was to just offer affordable (okay, at the time, that word meant cheap) rates to my clients, but trying to provide for a family of six is difficult when you don’t make much, so I turned to crowdfunding as a way to meet publishers in the middle. I could create stock art based off of their ideas and they didn’t necessarily have to commission an artist outright.
22-Nov-21 07:33 PM] KittyCrusade he/him#4396 Hello! My name is Alex Sprague, the co-owner of Wannabe Games. The Membership Coordinator the IGDN. I used to run bars and run political campaigns, now i do this. Currently we are kickstarting The Means of Magick, our second foray into Kickstarter. Happy to answer some questions here tonight!
[20-Nov-21 03:04 PM] rocket_bunny#4931 Hello, my name’s Rob and I’m the writer behind Isolation Games. I write indie RPGs and have also worked on a few larger games as a freelance writer as well, and I’m here to talk to you about Age of Steel, my first foray into RPG writing. Age of Steel is a Dieselpunk Action Adventure game in which players take on the roles of bounty hunters, private eyes and adventurers in a world inspired by our own in the 1920s and 30s but with a weird science twist.
[14-Nov-21 03:01 PM] Netier#2020 My name is Noah C. Cline, also known as Netier, who has been developing an SCP RPG game for nearly two years with a team a friend and I formed. The game is named [DATA EXPUNGED] and our website is: https://dataexpunged.com
[11-Nov-21 07:33 PM] Savant#6060 Hello! I’m Stephen, the developer of the Sabre Roleplaying Game, now in its 2nd edition. I also created the campaign setting for the system, Feydwiir, which is still in development. (done)
[10-Nov-21 07:32 PM] Endroren#8770 Hi! I’m Marc Tassin. I’m the creator and publisher of the World of Aetaltis, a brand new fantasy setting designed for the Fifth Edition of the world’s best-known RPG. It’s a fantasy world that takes everything that made fantasy gaming the phenomenon it is today, “remastered” for today’s games and gamers. It offers a host of new stories, ideas, and adventures, while embracing all of our favorite fantasy elements.
[10-Nov-21 07:33 PM] Endroren#8770 I’ve been gaming for gasp around 38 years and I’ve played everything under the sun. I’ve also written for Dragon Magazine, Shadowrun, and a few other products. I’m game to talk about literally anything folks want to discuss!
[09-Nov-21 07:31 PM] Geek Rampage#9606 I am Christian Conkle, author of Overlords of Dimension-25 and its intro adventure City at the Edge of the Universe. Overlords of Dimension-25 is a retro-clone of the old Buck Rogers XXVc game from 1989. It uses the D&D rules with a percentage skill system within a science fiction milieu.
[09-Nov-21 07:32 PM] Geek Rampage#9606 My version introduces changes to the setting to make it my own, but the two settings are close enough that one can run old XXVc adventures in Dimension-25 or vice versa.
