Our company originated from a group of tabletop players (Dungeons and Dragons, Pathfinder, Double Cross) playing a campaign called “Lyrian Chronicles” for over a decade. We took that world and wanted to make it more alive, to honor the campaign for what it did for all of us and getting us through our life struggles. It was a fully homebrew setting and the original began in 4th Edition and is still currently running with over 70 players across several sessions per week in an open world “mmorpg style” game. Angel’s Sword Studios is creating livestreams (virtual characters that share lore with the world, VTubers), music, video games, novels, merchandise (like plushies) and of course the core TTRPG all within this setting. I’m Leaflit, also known by my GM name Cure. I am the head writer and the original GM of the setting. [7:36 PM]Clay: We’re a brand new indie ttrpg press, and we launched our breakout book Rainsporest Odyssey 5e last month! It’s a Rainforest Adventure set in a jungle of endless night, where mushroom-infested creatures have gained strange powers. You come from a mountain top town surrounded by fog, and the adventure starts when a monster pierces the fog, and you learn that there is a whole world below your mountain! I like to tell people that it leans more ghibli than lord of the rings, and takes huge design inspiration from tears of the kingdom, elden ring, and believe it or not, undertale!

[7:31 PM]aoproductions: Hi there! My name is Alex Barry, aka AO Publications, aka AO Productions, aka AO Street Art. I first played D&D back when I was about 12, and my uncle showed me how to play and how to paint miniatures. I didn’t come back to it for quite a long time after, but in between I began doing various forms of public art. Starting with street art, moving to digital animations, and finally beginning to publish D&D adventures for free once I made my way back to the game. I’m still doing this today, and while my adventure is available for sale in print format, the digital format is completely free. This work is heavily influenced by Celtic and Arthurian legend and mythology, as well as heavy influences of many of my favorite surrealist artists like Salvador Dali (although with less nudity). It covers themes of grief and loss, along with the conflict of nature vs civilization. The Redmarsh is a 5e adventure, made for a group of 5th level players. It is a sandbox, with several storylines to explore – none of which are required. These include meeting Sir Redleaf, who’s art is featured on the cover, as well as meeting a strange entity from another plane known as The Prophet. It was playtested against both the 2014 and 2024 versions of the D&D 5e ruleset, and is compatible with both, and I worked with an amazing cover artist named Mario Nevado, who illustrated both Sir Redleaf and The Prophet, and I’ll post both artworks in here as well.

I have written and illustrated MANY games since 1999 and I am here today to talk about Anime Hack, a game I wrote and published in 2016. It was part of a big wave of “Hack” games that spawned out of the success of David Black’s The Black Hack, a rules lite, pared down ttrpg that offered an old school role playing game experience based on 1e D&D. I had done many how to draw Manga books in the early 2000s and I was keen to use Black Hack to emulate a Manga Game. Big Eyes, Small Mouth had morphed into an overly bloated and complicated game so it just made sense to keep it simple and intuitive. I wrote the game and started playtesting it for about a month before it was released in July 2016. [complete]
