[7:26 PM]Rutibex: Hello I am Michal Robinson creator of the Black Star OSR setting! https://www.drivethrurpg.com/en/product/547803/black-star Black Star — A Sourcebook for the Wizard-God Kings of Maxxia Under the eternal darkness of a collapsed sun lies the inner surface of Maxxia: a Dyson sphere once engineered as the Emperor’s private garden. When the Planar Imperium fell, its machines faltered, its caretakers died, and control passed to those ruthless and brilliant enough to seize the scraps of god-technology left behind. Now the Black Star Lands are ruled by ten Wizard-God Kings—living anomalies who blend sorcery, ideology, and ancient Imperium subsystems into oppressive new civilizations. Their empires are not nations but malfunctioning departments of a dead god-machine, each clinging to survival through cruelty, propaganda, or delusion. Black Star is a OSR, lore-heavy sourcebook designed to give GMs and worldbuilders everything they need to run campaigns in this shattered realm of post-imperial science fantasy.

[1:06 PM]Sunday, October 19, 2025 1:06 PMDavid Okum (Okumarts Games): I’ve been working on TTRPGs professionally since the late 90s. I have a regular gaming group and we have met weekly since 1981. They are a bunch of good sports, enduring my constant playtesting and false starts. The zines are more like TTRPG game books themselves. The Player’s Handbook for Starship Adventures is 56 pages and the GM’s Guide is 72 pages.

[8:32 PM]twmb: Hi, my name is William from Menagerie Press. I worked with Alfie and Charlie Lintzgy to publish Sapphire Seas, a level 1-10 Shadowdark campaign set in an archipelago of Bronze-Age islands inspired strongly by Ray Harryhausen’s stop-motion work. Sapphire Seas is notable because it’s the first complete level 1-10 Shadowdark campaign (Shadowdark has a max level of 10). Shadowdark has a lot of short- and medium-length adventures, but Sapphire Seas was the first complete campaign. It’s 400 pages spanning 15 islands, 20+ dungeons, and has a wealth of new monsters, spells, magic items, all set within the islands of the Sapphire Seas. https://legacy.drivethrurpg.com/product/534134/Sapphire-Seas-for-Shadowdark-RPG (done)

[7:46 PM]RaflarTheWanderer: Hi there, my name is Ralf Wall (aka Raflar the Wanderer). I’ve been playing TTRPGs since the early 80s. While I’ve been home brewing and creating content for decades, this is my first foray into sharing with the public. Today I’d love to talk about my first published work: Atomic Shadows – Post Apocalyptic RPG. This game is made for the ShadowDark RPG (so rules light / OSR) and is a cross between Gamma World and the Fallout video games. Gamma World was the first TTRPG I ran when I started the “D&D Club” in high school. I’ve always loved dystopian themes and even created a home-brew post-apocalyptic fantasy setting – much of those rules (mutations) were ported into this game. I chose the ShadowDark rule system for its ease of use, combining the old-school feel with some new school rules. And since I also created new classes and spells for ShadowDark I was already on that path. Plus ShadowDark’s popularity doesn’t hurt.
[8:25 PM]Scrying Dutchman: Hi! I’m Viktor Gorchev, aka the Scrying Dutchman. I’m actually Dutch, hence the name. I’ve been playing TTRPGs since the early 2000s, starting with Shadowrun and d20 Modern mostly. Both gave me an interest in urban fantasy, which has continued to this day. So when I started writing my own stuff around 2020, I decided to try and capture that niche, because I felt it was being a bit neglected. My first book which I successfully kickstarted was The Modern Adventurer’s Guide, adding modern classes and weaponry to 5e. Right after the OGL thing happened though, so I decided to switch to the OSR, also because most my friends in the hobby and industry are OSR people. My first successful foray into that was Modern Necessities for Old-School Essentials, which was also a successful kickstarter last year. Then this year I decided to do one for Shadowdark, called Blacklight. That’s what I successfully crowdfunded last month.(edited)
