: You can call me zero. I’m the designer for Dawn of the Eschaton It’s a horror survival rpg that is litterally the apocalypse. It takes place in modern day. The PCs are just average people like students, plumbers, accountants, homemakers etc. that has been plunged into this warped environment. The game starts right as the Dark happens. It’s 10:06 a.m. the sun is out, the weather is great then boom complete and total darkness. No more sun, stars, or electric light because electricity at that moment it ceases to function. Then most the population (around 90%) lose their minds and begin attacking everyone and everything they can find. This thins the population out very fast the first few hours. Roaches just seem to have spung up and are now everywhere eating every crumb of food they can find. They’ve also been warped and their saliva is acidic which allows them to eat quickly through packaging and material to get at food. The only sources of light are fire and the occasional glow stick. The Dark itself feels thick and drinks up light not allowing it to illuminate as far as it should. Then the monsters show up.
